We had the pleasure of welcoming Frances Jo Hamilton, Director of Revitalization, and Lorna Swisher, Assistant Director of Revitalization with Heritage Ohio to our Main Street Downtown Greenfield office.
Heritage Ohio oversees the Ohio Main Street Program, and their visit gave us the opportunity to talk about our progress, share ideas, and plan for the future of Greenfield.
We spent time discussing ways to strengthen our organization, including
• Strategic planning and goal setting
• Ways to measure and communicate our impact
• How Main Street programs drive economic development in communities like ours
Did you know that Main Street programs nationwide generate an average return of $27–$33 for every $1 invested? That impact comes through new businesses, building improvements, events, tourism, and community investment.
We’re grateful for the guidance and support from the Heritage Ohio team as we continue working to make Greenfield a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
