The 2025 network includes 821 Accredited programs—Main Street America’s highest designation—acknowledged for their outstanding achievements and proven impact. Additionally, 351 programs have received Affiliate status, recognizing their strong commitment to the Main Street model and ongoing improvements in their communities.

According to Erin Barnes, President and CEO of Main Street America, these programs exemplify the transformative power of engaged leadership and collaborative efforts in shaping vibrant and inclusive communities.

Main Street America’s designations—Affiliate and Accredited—serve as valuable advocacy tools, showcasing a program’s role in a nationwide movement with a 45-year track record of driving economic success and lasting community impact. To qualify, programs must meet rigorous standards, demonstrating commitment in areas such as broad-based community involvement, sustainable operations, and preservation-based economic development.

In 2024, Main Street America programs generated $7.65 billion in local reinvestment, helped launch 6,324 new businesses, created 33,835 jobs, and restored over 10,000 historic buildings. With every $1 invested in operations, an average of $21.73 was reinvested into downtown and commercial corridor communities, proving the substantial economic benefits of this movement.

These programs continue to drive positive change, reinforcing the importance of local collaboration and strategic growth. Learn more about Main Street America's framework and impact by visiting their website.
