✨ Small Business Grant Opportunity – $20,000 Available! ✨

Local brick-and-mortar small businesses may be eligible to apply for a $20,000 grant to help grow, improve, or create community-focused projects within their business.

Who can apply? To qualify, businesses must: 

• Be for-profit & independently owned

• Have started operating on or before Jan 1, 2024

• Operate from a physical, permanent storefront (not home-based, mobile, or online-only)

• Be located in the U.S. (50 states or DC)

• Have 20 or fewer full-time employees

• Be properly licensed & in good standing

Who is NOT eligible?

🚫 Nonprofits

🚫 Franchises

🚫 Home-based, online-only, mobile, or pop-up businesses

🚫 Businesses sharing space with another business

What can the grant be used for? Funds must support business growth and/or community impact, such as: 

• Space upgrades or new features (patio, stage, gathering area)

• Marketing or physical improvements

• Adding new services or revenue streams

• Hosting or supporting community activities

What CAN’T the grant pay for? 

🚫 Rent or utilities

🚫 Payroll for your own staff

🚫 Debt or loan payments

🚫 Past expenses or personal costs

Grant Details

• Grant amount: $20,000

• All funds must be spent April–September 2026

• Larger projects are allowed if you show how you'll fund the rest

Application Window

• Closes: Jan 16, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT
