Our heads are full and so are our notebooks! š¤Æš”
Main Street Downtown Greenfield spent the last week in Cincinnati at the Heritage Ohio Annual Conference, learning, connecting and gathering LOTS of inspiration to bring back to Greenfield!
Sessions covered everything from volunteer recruitment and downtown events to business recruitment, preservation, placemaking and strengthening Ohioās Main Street communities. There was so much good information packed into just a few days that it may take us a little while to unpack it all. š
Of course, learning didnāt only happen inside the conference rooms. There was time to explore Cincinnati, visit Findlay Market, check out some pretty incredible spaces and businesses, and see firsthand some of the creative ways other downtown districts are bringing people together. š¤
One of the best parts was connecting with others doing this same work across Ohio, including some new Main Street friends from Portsmouth and Elyria. Sharing ideas, successes, challenges and plenty of āwe should try that!ā moments is such a valuable part of opportunities like this.
Weāre coming home with a lot to think about, a lot to share and plenty of ideas for Greenfield. š
Thank you, Heritage Ohio, for a great few days of learning, connection and inspiration!
