As Highland County kicks off its America 250 Celebration, we invite the entire community to help us make history by participating in a countywide bell ringing ceremony!
The Opening Ceremony on Saturday, July 18, will begin with a special bell ringing led by Hillsboro, the home of the historic C.S. Bell Company and Bell Foundry. To honor this legacy and celebrate 250 years of American independence, we are asking businesses, churches, organizations, schools, and residents throughout Highland County to join us.

⏰ Beginning at 9:00 a.m.
If you have a bell, ring it for 25 seconds at 9:00 a.m. as we officially launch Highland County's America 250 Celebration!
Whether it's a church bell, school bell, business bell, farm bell, or even a handbell, we encourage everyone to participate and let the sound of freedom echo across Highland County.
Together, let's honor our nation's past, celebrate our present, and ring in America's 250th birthday!
